"Author: Ruthie's Cooking Corner

* 3 cups flour
* 2 tsp. baking soda
* 1½ tsp. ground cinnamon
* 1½ tsp. ginger
* ¾ tsp. ground cloves
* ½ tsp. salt
* 1 cup margarine, softened
* 1½ cup packed brown sugar
* 1 egg
* ⅓ cup mild molasses
* 1 package butterscotch morsels

Preheat oven to 350°. Combine flour, baking soda, spices and salt in small bowl. Cream butter, sugar, egg and molasses in a large bowl until creamy. Gradually add flour mixture and stir in chips. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 9-11 minutes.
